DPA worked with Allianz, a leading global financial services provider, to drive innovation in their UK business. Our brief was to turn the academic theory of an ‘ideas system’ into practice, and tangible bottom-line business benefits. Central to this was a people brief, and the belief that Allianz people have all the ideas required to make the business successful. We worked with senior managers and line managers to create a simple process, backed-up by train the trainer approach, to create an ideas culture and mechanism through which to realise their value. Key programme metrics were the number of implemented ideas per employee per annum, as well as financial measures around new revenue creation and operational efficiency.
